Housewares - Tarlow Design has help develop dozens of products for this ever expanding category. Whether it by a kitchen item, home storage item or bed and bath item – we can design a beautiful, functional product for you. Hardware - This category covers hand tools, electric tools, project “helper” products and garden/outdoor products. Tarlow Design has developed many product in this category and would be happy to put our expert attention on your great new hardware product idea. To the left is the Turbo-Wash – an auto cleaner we designed for TurboTec. Over 10 million sold to date !

Health and Beauty - This category includes body care products as well as exercise related products; anything that makes you look and feel like a million bucks. And while we’re at it, let’s make a million bucks on your great new health and beauty item. The rendering on the left shows a concept of a massageing and soap application device that is powered by the shower water.

Commercial - This category covers items that are not usually meant for household use. We have designed numerous commercial products such as “Dermiglow” – a dermabrasion machine used by esthaticians to remove unwanted blemishes on the skin. We also helped design the control housing for Heliodyne’s solar hot water heater. We even redesigned an entire milk processing plant to increase energy efficiency and productivity ! The instant beverage chiller was designed for the Navy.

Toy - We love toys, and the kids that play with them. We know just how to put a playful touch on a children’s product so that it is really appealing and full of play value. To the left is a pacifier holder that turns any pacifier into a child’s little buddy.

Sporting Goods - Americans love to get out there and have a GOOD time. Tarlow Design has helped design some really fun sporting items and we look forward to working on your next idea whether it be an outdoor exercise device, or an indoor game of skill. We call the riding toy shown here the Booter. It is a cross between a bike and a scooter! Lots of fun.

Novelties - Sometimes we just want something for the fun of it. Novelties a products that fit this broad category. How about a toilet paper holder that talks to you when you pull on the paper roll. Check out the “Talken TP” shown here. We designed this item for Spitfire Ventures and they have sold hundreds of thousands of them.

Ad Specialty - These are products that are designed to put logos on them, such as sports teams, beverage manufacturers or Colleges. We designed the “Can Grill” , shown at the left, for Hartleigh Promotions and it was the hit of the Las Vegas as specialty show this year.

Outdoor - Whether it’s outdoor grilling, or simply chilling, this is a growing product category. We helped design and license Ted Straus’s Neck Cooler to Sharper Image, and the promptly sold 500,000 of them. It was their top summer selling product.

Specialty - These are products the fall into “one-of-a-kind” catagories, such as the beverage monitoring system we helped design for Beverage Metrics, shown at left. Every time a bar tender or waiter pours a drink, a signal is sent to a central computer that keeps track of every drink poured so that the bar or restaurant owner can keep track of inventory and know when to order more.
